Look who's Two!!!

So Naomi is liking the "birthday" thing! She and Daniel are having a party together this weekend! :) Should be a blast!

Please pray for Naomi's birth family.... as I am sure they are thinking of her too. We are forever grateful for the gift of this precious child!

Daniel's FOUR!!!!

My sweet baby boy turned FOUR!!!! He had a great day started out with a special breakfast! He and Naomi have birthdays only 2 days apart! This week will be full of celebrations!

Eight years....

Glenn and I have been married EIGHT years this month!  Lately, the kids have been very interested in looking at photo albums, especially of our wedding! 

Oh... in case you are wondering... Daniel does have other shirts, besides these John Deere ones.... He just refuses to wear them! He loves John Deere!

Yesterday, we escaped the heat and the smokey skies and went to the San Francisco Zoo with the Malloney's!  It was a great day! All four kids had a blast! We were pretty worn out after... everyone skipped a nap... even Mommy! 

Eight months ago....

We held Naomi for the first time!

And today... she is such a happy child! We are so blessed that she is our daughter! 

I have this weird timeline in my head... I am really looking forward to having her in our family for 8 months and 1 day... and every day after of course! If you are wondering why... Naomi was with her foster family for her first 8 months of life, the orphanage the next 8 months.... I want to be who she knows more than anyone else! This Friday.... She will have been a part of our family for longer than anything she has know.  We are looking forward to all the amazing days ahead of us for our family!

Bubblicious!

Since Naomi's palate repair, she has just learned two new tricks! How to suck out of a straw... and blow bubbles! Are those not the sweetest lips! She was so proud of herself... as are we!

A few pics from this week...

My mom and dad are here to help out with things after my surgery. I am so grateful for all that they are doing! I am also so grateful to my friends who have been visiting and bringing me meals for my family! I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so much love! I am doing well... just easily tired! Here are a few pictures of the kids! The kids are really into G.G. telling stories to them! She is a great story teller!

Oh... and what do you all think... trim Naomi's bangs again, or grow them out? I am leaning toward growing them out...

Daniel's 1st Movie!

We took Daniel to see his first movie on the big screen!  We saw "Wall-E"....we loved it... even if Daniel did fall asleep 2/3 of the way through the movie! It was fun!
